My friend's house is like fifty years old, anf has been in the family for three generations. She had an uncle named Jody. Jody wasnt allowed to do much, one of the rules ((for reasons i dont care to know)) was that if a door was shut, dont open it. But of course, Jody would open doors and such. His bedroom was the one my friend has. WEll, one day, Jody died in the bathroom ((i dont remember how or why or anything though, sorry)). ANd now, doors open on their own, and one day we came home ((i went to her house)) to find all her clothes thrown on the floor. Off hangers, outta drawers.

We blame Jody..

i know someone who didn't believe in ghosts either but one day they came home and were sitting on the couch watching tv and things on their mantle started moving all on their own.. creepy

humans are so selfish, we cannot accept the fact that the world is not ours. we can't take the thought of sharing this world to other entities, but we do. religions don't teach that their gods created kangaroos and dinosaurs and aids but they all exist. we tend to deny the existence of other entities and if ever we acknowledge them, we label them "evil." i don't understand why many of us believe in what pastors and priests say rather than in what we actually experience. i'm a catholic and i find it absurd that the religion denies the existence of other entities but has a law that we should not communicate with ghosts. it's like how USA denies the existence of aliens while a state has a law prohibiting communicating with aliens. i have some ghost stories, and rather than being scared, they widen my horizon and deepen my understanding of the universe. i would also like to share 2 of the best ghost videos i've ever seen (out of 4).

i have a small ghoast story... nothing to big but here it is

one night, i was asleep it was about 1-2 o clock, and i just sat up in my bed i dont know why? and i just like woke up... i looked stirght and i saw my dog, who had passed away, in Nov,07 any ways he was in his spot that he almost always use to sleep in, just looking at me, and i blinked my eyes REAL hard, and he was gone.... and i just went back to sleep, i dont know if i was imanging this or it was real....

and ANOTHER short story, one night my father got up becuz he needed to use the bathroom, and he said, that he saw Dakota (dog) and so he just stepped over him, becuz he was so use to doing this when he was alive, and then the next day he relized what had happend

the dog i have now (Grizly) will just stop, stare and bark and random things...

i have always believed i moved into a house where a lady and her 7 dogs died in a house fire,obviously it was re done but the things that went on in there well i couldnt begin i am starting to feel the hairs rise now no i am not gonna frighten myself its day time,oh well i will always believe..

Have a read of an article about a British woman who took a photo on her camera phone and it apparently shows the ghost of Henry VIII. I personally don't think it's real as the face is only slight and it could just be due to the light and darkness and objects in the room... but you judge for yourself. There's nothing like a good ghost sighting though. The Daily Mail article on this is in the other box below.

I also have another one, I came across a documentary called 'Interview with a Poltergeist' on Channel 4 a few years ago and it was really interesting. It was about strange happenings in a house in the 70s in England where a teenage girl called Janet Hodgson was possessed by an old man and would speak in an old man's voice without force, doctors, experts on the supernatural and policemen were befuddled and recorded the entire thing on camera and showed that she was not putting on a voice and that the old man's voice came from her layrinx vibrating. There were reports from policemen and neighbours who were in the house that saw objects levitating and being thrown around the room without anyone being there. People believe the girls were messing around for attention but some people believe it was real and the girls just had fun with it and would trick people as well as the freaky stuff happening for real.

Have a watch it's quite unbelievable and freaky. And I am terrified at the idea of ghosts and poltergeists yet still managed to watch this cos it's very believable.

Yes, something kept opening my bathroom door, when it was shut.

Then I'd start locking it when I'd go in there.

I'd hear a strange click and get a weird feeling.

Suddenly I'd turn to see that the door was wide open again.

My boyfriend kept making excuses.

He thought I was doing it, or that the wind was blowing it.

One day I was locked out of the bathroom.

I had to pick the lock to get in.

I decided not to shut the door this time.

I just left it a slight bit open.

I was using the bathroom, and I guess I spaced out for a minute. When I looked up, it was wide open.

When I turned around to wash my hands, I heard a loud noise.

I froze stiff and shivers went down my spine-

because I knew it was the door.

When I turned to look, it was shut..and locked.

I turned the lock, but no matter which way I turned it-

it would not unlock. I started pulling at the door and turning and turning the k**b. Then I started banging.

Suddenly, it unlocked and I quickly pulled it open and flew out.

When I got out, I was shaking and breathing heavy and  sweating. My boyfriend asked me why I was banging and what was wrong.He said I looked like I'd just seen a ghost.

I told him it was somewhere in our bathroom, and it was messing with me.

He acted like I was nuts.

He said it must be the wind, or a problem with the lock or something. He said he didn't know why I was so spooked, because there are no such things as ghosts.

There's a window in my bathroom, but the outside of it is almost completely covered by a small awning, so I never get any air in there. Needless to say, there was no wind to speak of. I explained that to him, and asked him if a problem with the lock can make the door open and shut, and make the lock turn on its own. He didn't reply.

i heard about this house that was supposedly "haunted". anyway this family moved in with two young girls and one night, the girls heard a knocking from their bedroom wall. they go and investigate into the next room but the knocking persists and theres noone in the room. eventually the girls asked questions through a series of knocks eg, 2 knocks for yes, 1 knock for no. but things start going bad in the house. the girls accidently upset this unknown knockerer and object are seen picked up from nowhere and smashed around the house with no possible explanation. after a long time, the spirit calms down and the girls resume their knocking conversations with the ghost. however, months pass and the mother notices a change with the girls, they become moody, arrogant and almost evil. they startedtaking pleasure from killing things such as cats and animals they captured using various evil traps. one day, the mother opens the door to their bedroom and finds them both on the floor, their faces upturned in twisted evil grins, dead.

distraught, whats left of the family move out and it is said that the two girls souls joined those already there in the household. to this day, nobody knows how or why those two girls died.
