  1. A thing as described has not been defined, it is therefore indescribable, and as such, is no thing to discuss; however, if u describe an idea (Plato), then perhaps u will have something.


  2. We can, but we understand it as 'something', not a 'thing'. Something is being, does that mean I sense a thing or does it mean my senses are stimulated to response as if there where a singular thing there(?). We may define something as a thing if our need gives that possibility purpose.

  3. because you have nothing to differentiate it with everything else.

  5. Because the proper name for it would be "nothing".
