like forcing your eyes to see farther and allow them to evolve hyperopia, OR use negative lenses (-3.00 if you have -1.50) to reshape your eye lenses accordingly

  1. Your ideas about eyes, myopia, forcing, hyperopia, nagative lenses, reshaping eye lens, etc. do not agree with the current knowledge of the eyes.

  2. I never thought of it that way thank u

  3. The problem with that theory is that wearing a - 3.00 when you need -1.50 won't force you to see farther...it will just be blurry and cause eyestrain...and that isn't something that will improve.

Also...you know why the eyecharts are based on 20 feet ?...it's because the eye, viewing an object at 20 feet is using absolutely no accomodation. The lens is as flat as it can get. ( even though it is bi-convex)

So viewing the horizion, is no different to your eye than an object at 20 feet.

We are almost always viewing objects that are 20 feet or more away....soooo, that doesn't induce hyperopia to evolve.

Back to the drawing board ??
