You can think different things, but you can never think the things differently.

'The things thought are different' does not mean 'the things are thought differently.'

What is your opinion?

  1. are you pertaining to the process of really thinking about a thing? because if its PROCESS that you mean then basically it will never change even the thought is different...

but if its simply thinking of things differently- i guess its possible.

For instance I think that a thing is right but on the other hand also thinking of it as wrong- i have the thought of it being right and wrong (no confusion-fixed thought of being right and wrong) because i'm thinking of it using different perspective and school of thought...

I guess perceiving  it as strictly right, and wrong is thinking differently...

  2. How differently do you want them?  And why not?

  3. 'You can think different things, but you can never think the things differently. What is your opinion?'

    False

''The things thought are different' does not mean 'the things are thought differently.''

    They are.

  4. I can think in French and English that is different even if it is the same thought

  5. YOU CAN THINK DIFFERENT THING  to me is something like I can think of a chair and I can think of something different like a table.

You can think the things differently. The word " Government" means different things to republicans and democrats.

  6. I think what you mean by thinking things differently is the entire set of beliefs that govern your perception. If this is so, I would call that set of beliefs a paradigm. Paradigm shifts aren't too common, but they do occur. I was born and raised Mormon my whole life, and how I saw things was governed by my Mormon paradigm. A few months ago I stopped believing in it and became an atheist. This is a very different paradigm from my previous one, but it certainly is an example of "things [that] are thought differently".

  7. of course "you can think different things, but you can never think the things differently",

  8. You can think the things differently.  It's called 'changing your mind'.  I love it when it happens because it means I'm having a very intellectually engaging discussion.

  9. I think it's saying that you can think on a wide range of subjects but you can never change your process of thinking or how you reach conclusions.

I don't really agree with that.
