I for one am glad.

Rossi is the 2 wheel master, yes I know he can drive like a demon, but he needs to stay on the MotoGP circus for a few more years. He is not finished. Nowhere near finished!

There is nothing more boring to me than F1... I have read a couple of articles about Rossi and in few of them he shared my opinion. He may be good on 4 wheels but he is even better on 2!

Plus... Who said he was finished?! There is a lot more to see from him!

I think I'd be happy to see him race anything, but as I am not gonna be switching on the F1 any time soon ( I'd rather go outside and watch my lawn grow!) am pleased he's staying where he is for now.

Rallying would be good though!

Rossi ,ROSSI, RosSi,  Very good very good.  Why would he need to stay in the MotoGp circut?  More money in F1.  He is good no doubt and is a good persanality in MotoGP.  Sometimes it looks like (from TV)like he's loseing that edge.  Other teams got the bikes and got great riders that are very very good.  I want to see Hopper come out on top now.

Hi Wiggysan.  It amuses me that Rossi can get closer to Schmacers time in the Ferrari than Schmacer can get to Rossi's time on the Duc. I think its more likely to go along with Dingo and he will go to Rallying.  But it depends on the outcome of this season. and that's far from sorted.

I must admit it had passed me by the fact he had even been in the Ferrari. I must be slipping.

I'd like to agree, but it's that's man's life. He's proved that when he sets his mind to something there's very few people who can stop him. The natural progression for Vale would be to move up to next challenge. And while I do kinda agree that his window may have vanished, history has shown that writing off "The Doctor" can be a bad idea.
