  1. No. Work is force times distance. The suitcase gains the same height regardless of whether you run, walk, or crawl.


  2. right one way to find work is PE at the top minus PE at the bottom.  PE=mgh, so same height=same PE=same amount of work

  3. you would exert a greater amount of power if you ran (P=W/t) but  work is unaffected by the time interval during which the forces are exerted.
