You ever get an object that seemed to bring you bad luck?

I got this old dime in my change from a dollar store and since then have had nothing but bad luck!

How do you get a dime in change from a "dollar" store?  Isn't everything in the store a dollar?

He could have bought a one dollar item with a ten dollar bill and  got the change back all in dimes.

Why do you assume its the dime and not the item you purchased?

Perhaps the process of making the purchase caused you or the clerk to speak words which sound like with an ancient incantation of bad luck.

Perhaps some bad stuff just happened to you, and having the coin is really just a coincidence and the bad stuff that happened would have happened with or without the coin.

I think what whush said was right. What kind of coin is it?What year? Take it to the bank and exchange it for a regular dime (if you don't mind them laughing at you).Or , ask the bank where it came from and if it's valuable. You might have struck it rich. Or, take it back to the store. Maybe that's where it wants to be.Maybe it's fascinated with the dollar store. (I'm speaking of the spirit attached to it..not the coin itself.)(But I'm not sure how that spirit got inside the cash register drawer.)
