I stayed on a little island like this in Fiji once, for a couple of weeks.    While it was relaxing I would not want to live there.

I would rather pay to visit someone elses island, let them maintain it, ship in the food, etc.

I would not mind owning my own island if I had someone special to own it with me!

Every single day.   Have you seen the magazines Robb Report or Worth which cater to rich people.  They have islands you can buy.
