You find a stray dog on the side of the highway and it becomes apparant quickly ...?

that this dog is a very intelligent dog. The dog can move things around to make shapes meaning it has a great concept of language and symbolism (lets say the dog creates an octogon out of sticks). Obviously if this dog was studied it would become a great asset in science, however the dog could face painful experimentation. Would you keep the dogs intelligence a secret or would you let his secret be known? Basically what I am asking is which is more important - an animals happiness or the furthering of science? (This is not a yes or no question, so please provide a suitable answer.)

I wouldn't keep the dog because it's not mine...I would take out an advertisement to seek out the rightful owner...

i would not allow the dog to be used for cruel experimentation and if keeping his talent secret was the only option then so be it: I would be quiet.

However if I could give the dog a loving home and if he enjoyed his feats then I would put him on TV and make him and me millionaires
