  1. if its acceptable i'll just stick with it. for example i ordered spag bolognaise but i get spag alfredo, i can still accept.

but if i order lobster n they serve me king prawns or yabbies i will probably let the waiter know

  2. just return that and get what u have ordered for...juust imagine if u r pure veggi and they give u non-veg to eat out what u will do???

  3. i would go back and tell them where's the beef,i'm missing a hamburger.

  4. Depends on how wrong it is. but if it's not acceptable I just tell them. Especially if i ordered my meat well well done and it comes back rare. I think as long as you're paying you should get what you asked for, even if it's a small thing.

  5. I would be sure to tell the waiter what the problem was. When you order, the kitchen gets the order and swings into action. the thing is, there is a rhythm you get into in the kitchen and sometimes special orders will cause you to lose that rhythm and s***w up an order. I myself have no problem with a diner sending a plate back if it's wrong. I would do whatever it takes to make the diners meal a success. I feel obligated to the customer to get the order right. It's a matter of pride in my kitchen to make sure diners are happy. The point is, don't hesitate to send it back, if the chef is any good at all, he'll make it right. And maybe he'll comp you a dessert!

  6. You would mention it to a staff member at the restuarant. Don't sit back there, and pretend everything is alright when it is really not. And I would think they would be pretty apologizic about the miss up. Now if the food runner is still at your table, mention it to them, and I bet your server will come to your table to check how things are, so mention it to him/her, don't pretend that everything is alright, and don't thinking to yourself "I am going to give a really bad tip for this", and usually restuarants work thier best to make sure things like this don't happen, and for all they know you could be a food critic, and then you could give them a bad review in the paper.

  7. tell em, i should get what i asked for/payed for

  8. I guess it depends on how wrong it is.  If I ordered mashed potatoes and got fries, eh, not really that major.  If I ordered chicken and got beef, then yes, I'd call it to the wait-person's attention.

  9. get mad as h**l

  10. You let em know they messed up.. It's a buisness your paying for the food it should b what you asked for! Let them know they made a mistake
