Well that guy is a prick, someone who needs to be castrated. A guy like that is the reason good girls are hard to find, and they are also the reason girls don't forgive as easily.

Relationship are built upon trust, if that trust is not there, there can be no real relationship.

You said white lies? If you are telling lies to get someone to sleep with you thous are way past white lies, they are your way of compensating for something, if someone wants to be with you, they are going to be with you for you, and not for what they tell you.

Good white lie: No honey you don't look fat in that dress.

This is a good lie, because if you say "Honey, you look like a cow" it is going to hurt her feelings, however, this is only implied to certain conditions.

Now telling someone a white lie such as your car man example,

It can go 45 miles to the gallon, when in reality it can only go for 3 miles to the gallon, and for the smart people they understand that but for idiots that think they are smart by telling this lie just to get you to buy the car, and they find out that you where full of c**p you are going to lose their trust, and they will probably sue you for lying to them, which in a relationship perspective never talk or associate with you again, and tell all their friends about how you are such a big liar. So just keep with the truth, its much easier and their is less to remember.

This is so true.  That's why I play hooky with the nooky until I truly know I care about him regardless to what he says.  You see, it is my theory that men going from woman to woman doesn't mean they are good lovers it may mean that they know they suck enough not to be able to return to the scene of the crime.  I'm in no mood to appoint myself a relief effort.  So...lie on.

There's a large difference between exaggerating and lying.

If the boyfriend promised her things such as love and care, and he doesn't follow through.. that is similar to a Used Car Salesman telling you the car is a 2 door, but you find out it actually has 4 doors.

It's no secret that many people hate Used Cars salesmen, and it's no different from guys who promise things only to sleep with girls and then ditch them.

Exagerration is used, usually, with best intentions for both people involved. Such as the guy telling a girl that she is the prettiest girl he's ever seen, but still intends to date her regardless of the reality of her looks.

Don't offer yourself up so easy?

Let the guy know in the beginning of the relationship, that you are looking for someone to settle down with, not just s*x.

If s*x is all they want, they won't call after the first date.

Separate the bad from the good. Find someone who will respect you, and not take you for granted.
