Who do you choose and why? My two choices:

Pitcher - Tim Lincecum. The freak has the rubber band arm and is putting up amazing stats. At the age of 24.

Batter - Justin Upton. He started off hot, slumped, and hit the DL, but he just turned 21 two days ago! He has incredible power for such a young kid, it's going to be fun watching him mature as a player.

  1. Pitcher - Roy Halladay - He simply never has a "bad" start.  Put him on a team with ANY real offense, and he wins 22 games this year.

Batter - Alex Rodriguez - Hits for power, hits for average, will swipe 20 bases/yr, is a very underrated fielder, and he's still right in the prime of his career.  Oh, and by the time he's done, he'll be baseball's Home Run King.

  2. CC Sabathia-

    Batter Albert Pujols-

  3. Roy Halladay, Albert Pujols.

  4. Pitcher- Brandon Webb.  The guy can pitch.  Every year he is in the Cy Young race even when pitching in AZ, where there is hardly run support.

Hitter- Ya gotta go with Josh Hamilton.

  5. Pitcher- I agree. Tim Lincecum. I saw him pitch during his debut, and even though it was a rough outing, d**n that dude has killer stuff. great pitcher.

Hitter- Jay Bruce. He is raking it up for the Reds and looks sharp in the field as well.

  6. Jose Reyes and Edinson Volquez.

  7. d**n! Matt took my two>

how about Edinson Volquez and Jimmy Rollins

  8. Brandon Webb and Albert Pujols.

  9. lincecum and hanley ramirez

  10. Pitcher = Brad Ziegler, he has given up one signifcant run in 45 innings this year

Hitter = Josh Hamilton, he is the best run producer in baseball and BY FAR the most naturally gifted hitter in baseball

  11. Pitcher: Johan Santana - he's still young

    Batter: Albert Pujols

  12. Pitcher-Cant go wrong with Timmy.  Its not like this kid came outta now where, he was a top prospect in the minors and now hes excelling.  If I were the Giants I would lock up this kid for a long ter contract.  Give the kid whatever he wants, because he's the Giants biggest hope of winning.

HItter-Im going with Matt Holliday.  Many dont realize but he actually have 24 stolen bases this year.  Could finish with a surprising 30/30 season.  Hes only 28 and still got great years ahead of him, this is just his 5th season in MLB and hes got much more to prove.  Great batting average, on his way to another .340 finish.  RBI machine.  Gotta go with him.

  13. Josh Hamilton.  He can straight out rake.  Finally has it all together.

Mariano Rivera.  Can throw for ya 60 games a year and all but makes it an 8 inning game for the other team.  That dude can hold a lead for ya.
