hey people, just got a quick question with regards to my previous question about help with vet bills, so far i have tried 4 chartites now and they are all saying they only help people who claim benefits how is this fair!! how many people do you know who claim housing benefits and unemployed benefits that donate to dog charities! its people like myself who dont claim benefits and have been donating to charities for years now and when i ask for some help back they say NO!

Personally i think this is wrong.

Any body got any sujestions or anything to comment about this?

Thanks

  1. Pet costs are not one of the things government agencies make a priority, with so much human suffering out there. Pets are a luxury. Vet bills can be very high...try working out a payment plan with yours.

  2. So... you expect other people to pay your pet's vet bills, rather than yourself?

You need to put the needs of your pet FIRST, and drop the resentment that other people won't pay your vet bills. Ask friends for loans, get some temporary work (shovel snow, mow grass, clean out someone's garage, work nights and weekends), sell some of your things, cut out a monthly expense for a while (like cable television), etc. In other words, do *whatever* it takes to pay for the care of your pet. Being a pet owner means stepping up to the responsibilities of such.
