I got a mail stating that i won $500 from yahoo. When I am trying to redeem that I am being forced by the browser to buy yahoo games premium membership worth $8.75. I am ready to pay that amount however that gives me the only option for payment that is e-gold. I do not know how to pay through e-gold. I registered in e-gold but it does not have any balance in that . So I cannot pay through e-gold. I want help on how to pay this money through e-gold or how to get the other options to buy this yahoo games premium membership.

It does not sound right to me. Don't do it.

It is a hoax so you will buy the premium membership.   Be wary of things like that .....esp via email or anything that ask for personal info like social security number, credit card numbers, PIN #s and so on.

Sounds like a S.C.A.M. to me...... would yahoo really give away $500 you have got to ask yourself. DO NOT part with any money.
