Don't you agree? I have read some of the stupidest questions. Anyone with some common sense would know the answer. Why are people so dense and full of stupidity and rudeness these days?

i think there 3 or 4 major divisions of users of YA.

1)  people who are just sort of talking to each other -

the Q or A don't matter at al

2) people asking or answering real questions, where they are  hoping for helpful answers

3) people who just want to cause flame wars

or be as insulting as possible

(they think it gives them power)

4) people who have  no idea how to use a search engine

There's no doubt that this is a way to kill time. Here I sit in my office on hold with our communications provider answering questions waiting for the inevitable to one day come for me and take me from this world.

While I'm here I've found that this helps me deal with the my own human condition. I can only fathom that the reason you feel people are stupid and dense is their thinking different from how you do.

Its been said that the person is smart, but people are stupid and in some cases I'd have to agree with you. However each person has a choice to ask and answer an infinite number of the most random questions and there undoubtedly is somone out there with an opinion on such subject matter.

Charles Dewar said that, "Minds are like parachutes, they only work when they are open." Therefore we need to accept the person's ability to make a choice even though we not agree with it, and furthermore strive to serve our fellow man better regardless of how they may look at us.

Think for yourself, question authority.
