be assertive, talktative etc. what do you think of my chances of being hired when the interviewer (on my initial interview) told me that i am very nervous and when we shook hands, he told me i am so cold. do you think i will still be considered for the job? i have all the experiences needed for the position (thou not directly as a call center agent

  1. Wow, he sounds like a douche.

    If you answered the questions well, nervous or not, I'm sure you'll be considered for the position.  Many, many people get nervous during interviews.  It's very much expected.

    Trust me though-- working in a call center is dreadful.  You exist to have people yell at you for things that weren't your fault, and tell you how much your company sucks (even if they don't!)

    Blagh-- I find it too stressful, and I'm not easily stressed.  And to put it into prospective-- I work at the call center for a Water Delivery company.  People are so incredibly passionate about their water-- I receive some awful calls.  Of course, the nice people make up in full for the mean ones... but you really have to be able to not take it to heart to work there.

    call centers are terrible jobs any how... why would you want it? I'd look for another place to work.
