Our local place pays by weight. I think the current scale is 55cents per pound. That could vary across the States or the country you're in if not Stateside.

5 cents each for a bottle/can/anything that says recycle sign that says 5 cents :)

each recycling center pays differant, here where i live they pay 60 cents per pound, it was about 80 cents a pound, but they always drop the price in the winter, in the summer they pay about $1.25 per pound. it takes about 23 cans to make a pound.

I think like 5 cents (thats what it was last time I checked but it might have changed)

Where I live they don't GIVE you anything. They reimburse for what they already TOOK, not including your time, gas, wear and tear on your car, etc.
