You know those people who do the live broadcasts from Hollywood on GMTV etc. what do u have to do to do that?

those people that do the live reports most mornings on the breakfast programmes like 'gmtv' or 'this morning' and give out all the hollywood gossip about what all the celebs have been upto and whats going on. well how do you get in to a career like that as that would be my dream job, im a good looking young 23yr old male and would love to become one of these hollywood correspondents-i know i got what it takes!

  1. That's not a career but a career move. They are journalists who specialise in show business news and have become sort of 'Experts' at winkling out trivia about movie and TV personalities.


  2. Although you think you might look good that is not what is going to get you a job. Are you a trained journalist? If not I would suggest you look into training as you will not get into the industry in this day and age by making coffee etc those days are long gone. Though if one of your relatives are famous you might have a chance.

    The people you have referred to are trained journalists who have worked their way up and specialised in the Field.

  3. I hate to say it but most come across as shallow, insignificant little nobodies and ill informed at that. I heard Carla Romano on GMTV on a news item about Paul Newman that he was married to Natalie Wood, well seeing as how she has been dead many years that would be a bit hard, he is in fact married to Joanne Woodward. If you think you have what it takes then suggest you wite to the respective TV companies offering your services. Don't expect a  reply too soon though
