I made a song ages ago using a programme called Fruity Loops but when I select the option of opening it with Windows Media Player it says it can't be read, is there any way I could listen to it?

  1. Did Windows Media player report that a codec was missing?

Fruity Loops may have saved the file in a format Media Player cannot open.  Open the file in Fruity Loops and see if there are other filetype options when saving.  If you save a file to WAV format you should never have an issue.

  2. install k-lite mega codec or vlc player

these players supports all video n audio formats

btw which format is it ??

  3. convert that file to mp3 or
