You know when you hear a man stutter what are the first thoughts that come into your head

Like what do you think of that person as a whole?

I listen very closely and wait until he is done. Then, I answer his question or add comments to what he has said.

He has a stutter. No big deal.

Well honestly - they're just a normal person but they have a nervous habit...it's really not that big of a deal...

I think that man must have a frustrating time of it and m ust be more sensitive and aware of others than your average bloke.

All i think is be patient and don't finish his sentences for him.I don't think anything about the person just because they have a stutter

It's not the stutter that interprets my opinion, it's what he has to say.

It doesn't change what I think of the person in any way.

All I think of is that the person has a bit of a speech problem and wait until he has got what he is trying to say finished.  It depends of the other traits of the person how I regard him as a whole. Just because he stutters makes him any less of a person.

first thoughts nothing other than this man has a stutter i would not make fun of someone because of it or think any less of them as a person just because they stutter i would make sure they finished what they where saying  and not try and guess the end of there sentence aswell if i had a stutter i think that would p**s me off

It's going to be some time before he finishes a sentence,he may be embarrased by this and that I should be patient.I think,I should wait until he finishes what he has to say before deciding what kind of a person he is.

I think no differently of someone who stutters than I do of anyone else.  The only thought that comes to my mind is whether or not to tell them to contact The Stuttering Foundation of America and give them the phone number or web site so they can get help.
