You make the call. Does Ryan Braun break the record for homeruns in his first two seasons?

He's only 11 away from tying Joe Dimaggio, and 12 from breaking the record.

I don't see why not, unless he'd somehow be injured or go on an INCREDIBLE cold streak.

  1. Maybe  i think he can but 12 that means 6 in each of the last 2 months and , personally i dont like th guy but why not

  2. Braunys my dude. He's the reason why I started watching the Brews. But yeah. I think by the end of the season, he will have 40 + HR's. I think he s really enjoying himself out there in out field. . .

    btw... nice pic.... it's classic.

  3. no

  4. He may, but he won't do it with the same style and grace os DiMaggio.

    DiMaggio's SO/HR ratio:1.0

    Braun:   3.3

  5. no. he just got injured in todays game. he is expected to be out for at least 10 years, thus ending his career. he suffered a broken fingernail, which if is not treated with great care, could be deadly.

  6. My man RB (ARBY) is gonna do it

    Go #8

  7. yes

  8. Well, it doesn't really seem fair because he would be missing almost 2 months of work due to a late call up from last season and 2 months of Mr. Braun could 25 home runs, which obviously has already broken it.

As for this year, I think he will. August is not half way through and a even a lukewarm Braun September will mean a good 8 homers. 12 is definitely within reach and I think he will break the record, but it doesn't matter because he already would've if he had played 2 full years.

He is a stud player. No leather but that bat is insane! Could challenge Mr. Howard for the HR title as soon as next season. He is an incredible player and with the Prince, they could be remembered as the premier one-two in this generation of baseball.

  9. yeah he has a great shot and i think he will

it would be nice if he goes on a hot streak now so he wont have pressure later on to break it
