  1. I am a teacher and I can honestly say I have never hated one of my students.  All of them had their own challenges that came along with them, but I look at it as a gratifying challenge for me to meet their needs... that's why I became a teacher.

  2. I am a teacher and can honestly say that I have never hated any of my students.  There are plenty of students whose BEHAVIORS need firm adjustments.  I don't think any teacher would have sought this profession with the idea of hating their students.  It is obvious that teachers care about education and care about the students involved. Our profession is the most ignored of them all.

  3. People are human & even teachers cannot be expected to get along with all their students.  When this occurs it is best to have both parties get along for however long the teacher/student relationship lasts.  Especially if there isn't an alternative to move to another classroom.  Enlist the help of a guidance counselor or coach or other admired teacher to help with this dilemma.  If you feel you have someone to talk to right where the problem exists, you may feel better equipped to handle the personality differences.  Hope this has helped some. I have had to tell my daughter to just get along & get thru the class.  The greatly disliked teacher would not be teaching her all thru highschool.  Eventually she realized her grade for the class in her records is more important than the temperament of the teacher to student.  It was not easy but she managed a good grade.

  4. i think so.. haha our teacher told us she hated us and was going to retire that year because of us. I said.. uhh... Mrs._______ thats not possible. you have to plan retierment before hand so you cant just say your going to retire! She was like... EMILY DO U WANNA GO TO TEH OFFICE??? i was like.. can i take my friends with me? i didnt have to go and she was jsut mad. lol

  5. from the look of your question I see that you really need a good education and students who are having problems with a teacher and it has nothing to do with the work means that the particular student is giving the teacher problems.Look at what you wrote and find the errors. Also teachers do not and will not like all their students just like you may not like all your classmates or teachers.Teh teacher has a right to personally dislike a student as long as he/she doesn't deliberately disrespect the student or just give them bad grades.Their job is to teach and if anyone in the classroom prevents that from happening then she should do what she have to do to stop it.You can dislike your teacher but you must remember that you are not going to school to like the teacher but learn. To make good grades.Your negative attitude and bad behavior can lead you to fail that class and be right back in the same teacher's class. You are not there to like people but to show respect and learn.

  6. What isn't always true?  As a teacher, I have never 'hated' any of my students.  There were some that were certainly more trying than others...some that I didn't click with as well as others, but I remember all of my students fondly and hope they are all doing well.  I think you need to remember WHY teachers go into teaching in the first place.  I sincerely doubt any of your teachers hated you, as it is a very rare incidence.

  7. Teachers do not hate students.  Teachers do hate some of the behaviors that students do.  Generally, you will find, that if you do your part in the educational process, there won't be any problems with your teachers.  When you don't do your part, you want to say that the teacher hates you.  You need to look in the mirror to see who to blame and stop trying to make excuses.

  8. I don't hate any of my students.  But, I get extremely frustrated at some.  I give all my students the benefit of the doubt and I try to make a connection with them.  I want them to succeed.  But, some students continue to disappoint me.   I'll go above and beyond for a student and they will throw away the opportunity or second chance I gave them.

So, I don't hate them.  But, I get really frustrated.

  9. most teachers care deeply about their students (& their subject of expertise), but some students do have persistant irritating behaviors that can get on the nerves of a teacher.

some students misbehave intentionally just to show off or get the teacher mad (like some juvenile game), i have had student keep pushing daily to be sent out of the room,...

what most students don't understand is that every outburst or stupid/rude behavior slows down the learning process for every student in the room. this frustrates most teachers alot.

most students can tell when an adult genuinely does not like kids,....those few should never have gone into teaching!
