  1. you want to study abroad? go to YFU, youth for understanding. they have tons of scholarships. i went to japan for 6 weeks on a scholarship and did not speak a word of japanese! if you are in highschool this is a great option. another option is to do what is called a 13th year. an extra year of high school in another country. these tend to be cheaper and easier to get a hold of.

If you want university in another country that is not that difficult. I know in China most universities you can download an application that is only a few pages, far easier than american universities. Fill it out send it in and it really is about that easy. I am doing that and going to Wuhan university. Good lucck

  2. It depends where you go. I want to go to Spain and in Spain all the classes are in Spanish and you live with a spanish speaking family. And I believe that you need to have taken a certain amount of Spanish classes in college before your qualified to go there.

However, that's just one option. My brother went to Australia and loved it. In Austrailia you stay in a dorm and all the classes are in english.

I'm sure it's possible to get a job abroad, but I think most people prefer to take it easy and not work so much. I wouldn't think a car would be necessary, but again it depends where you go. Most places have great public transportation.

So going to another country that speaks english is always a good option if your not up for learning another language. Either way, you should definatly study abroad, it's a great experience.
