Okay so I'm sorry if this is a little confusing. I miscarried naturally at 11 weeks a month ago. I started to feel similar pregnancy symptoms this past weekend and so I bought some tests, I took one Friday and nothing, Saturday a light line, Sunday a light line, Monday a light line. I went in to get my beta hcg blood work done today at the doctor's office and I have to wait until Thursday to get the results, but my dr. thiniks that this may still be hormones from the miscarriage. My question to you is how can they still be hormones from the miscarriage if I got a negative test on Friday followed by three positive tests the next three days? What do you think, am I pregnant or is this residual hormones?

  1. I think it depends on if you are having symptoms again...   I've heard of people still having the hormones up to 2 months after a miscarriage.   Maybe it's not high levels but enough to show a positive.  Maybe your doctor could have done an ultrasound or something.

I'm very sorry that I don't have a better answer...  Good luck!

  2. don't get your hopes up darlin'.

    i think it's residual hormones.

    just don't doubt the doctor.
