Seeing that the Heavy weight division is intolerable and not to the American liking would you be interested if Tyson said he was ready to do the right thing for boxing, and do you think he would uplift the sport right now? Forget about his past, and his troubles. Would you accept him?

  1. He would have to pay ME to watch him fight

  2. None of the heavyweights are worth watching at the moment. And that is the reality which we all have to accept. It upsets me a  lot when i think about what the heavyweight division used to be and how over the last decade it has turned into probably the worst and most boring division.

As for Tyson and the talks of his comeback i think like most that Tyson will obviously not be the same man he was in his prime but with the heavyweight division being the joke it is right now i would rather watch a 41 yr old Tyson fight than any  of the other heavyweights including the so called undisputed champion Wladimir Klitschko.

  3. Not a chance!

  4. i wouldn't pay to watch his fights, but i would watch them.

  5. I feel bad for Mike Tyson because of how people have used him and exploited him, but I certainly wouldnt watch another one of his fights.

The last time he was in the ring he was such a far ways away from his former self that it was embarressing.

As bad as the heavyweight division is right now, probably about 80% of the boxers in it, would beat mike tyson, 40% of which would probably man handle him

Sad to say but the guys a beaten man. Hopefully boxing recognizes him for the force he used to be. Mainly so he can get his life back on track

  6. why do great fighters like him keep coming back,Ali,Leonard and many many others, its tragic, they not only need the money but also the daily dosage of hero worship from their great days,it's like they just cannot accept they are finished as world class fighters,Foreman being the exception cos of a poor heavy division.I just find it sad that such great fighters are reduced to a circus attraction almost,in answer no I would go to see it,Id find it to distressing and pitiful!

  7. probably not....i just heard that they are digging up eveander holyfield for a fight with iron mike

  8. nope

  9. nope.

  10. Whether it's from PPV buys or a bar with a six dollar cover charge, I will not pay to see Tyson fight again. The only way I'd see him fight again if one of my friends/relatives get access to fight at their house, which would then enable me to see it for free.

  11. What's to accept, Mike's a convicted rapist and I have five daughters.  I got no problem with Teddy chipping Mike's teeth with a .38, the difference is if it was one of my daughters instead of Teddy's niece, I would have pulled the trigger.

Mike's time in boxing is over, he should stay retired, but in any event I neither condone, nor forgive his past behavior.  I certainly  don't buy into the "poor abused little Mike" scenario of the above answerer.  Mike made his own choices in life, it's not our place to judge him.

Would I pay 50 bucks for a pay per view fight of Holyfield/Tyson III?   I am a boxing historian, and the end fight of that trilogy would have some historical significance, so Yeah I would buy it for that reason.  It would have nothing to do with Mike as a person or "American Heavyweight boxing".  It would be that last chapter in the careers of a great champion (Evander)  and one of that champions notable opponents (Mike) that would spark interest in some fight fans.

It should be priced at around 30 bucks though, 50 is a bit high.
