I've read many ghost encounters at the shadowlands web site. Often someone sees a ghost, or sees one out of the corner of their eye, or in a mirror....and they turn their heads or blink and its gone.
This made me wonder.....maybe with certain people, under the right circumstances, the liquid film on the eye becomes the exact thickness needed for spirits to be seen. However, as soon as they blink, the thickness of the eye film is reset, so the spirit disappears. I know this is pretty far out there, but does it make sense?
My idea is maybe a certain eye film thickness filters some spectrum of light out, or allows some spectrum of light in....in such a way that allows spirits to be seen. If there's some truth to this, I don't know if it would even be possible to test it. But I thought I'd toss it out there and see what y'all think.
