I want to be a prodigal son but when I mailed him about it, his definition was entirely different from mine. I always thought a prodigal son was a bloke that had been down the pub for about a year and eventually decided to come home again to the wife and getting a sore face in the process. This bloke kinda sugar coated everything and just said that he no longer "slept with the past" whatever that means!!?? ^_^ Do you think I could be a prodigal son for spending too long in the pub? Oh yea did I mention, he's got an account on here? Calls himself the prodigal son, nice chap really.

Cheers folks, best wishes to you all!

  3. I don`t know what a prodigal son is but i agree the prodigal son on here is a diamond guy and a great friend x

  4. I remember him on here. Anything he asked he got 40 answers.Good

    questions though.

  5. There is only one Prodigal son and he is a sweetie, a truly lovely gentleman & a pal.............He just means he has turned his life around from the way he used to live it before and is happy and content.....If you go to the pub for a year your missus will have eloped with the milk man or postman.........whichever takes her fancy............did you take the washing in yet, its been hanging out there for days......go on now.... :))

  6. First of all Jase, a prodigal son is an errant son, NOT an errant husband.

He is a person who repents and comes home to his father/mother NOT his wife and he is welcomed and forgiven.  His brother who has stayed at home, is of course jealous of the attention his brother has received and his father replies.....

"Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine. It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found."

  7. Yes, he's nice..too nice...
