  1. Who knows.

I live for myself, not for "the lord"

  2. Thats all old testament.  If you are Christian, Christ nor books in the new testament mention body piercings or tats. Unless you count the part were king of kings is tattooed on Jesus' thigh.

If you are Jewish then you have to really think about it.  But if you study it, It refers to rituals performed in those days.  Rituals That were not in the liking of God.  Many cultures performed ritual cuttings so the dead could "cross over".    There is no ritual assigned with western tattooes.

Also piercing is a puncture wound not a cutting.  Cuttings cause scars which is called scarification.  Its a form of body art Its really hard core.

Any research into the bible makes you realize the laws God set forth in the old testament all had reasons that delt with the old world and were important to survival.  By serving God his Laws served you.

  3. many women in the old testament wore nose rings, so I don't think he's talking about piercings...

  4. Jesus loves me and my tattoos.

  5. this is a really controversial subject area. ive thought this myself too..ALOT!
