You should change this rule about intersections, cause i always almost get hit, read more?

ok, it should be cars first then pedestrians, or pedestrians first then cars, not cars and pedestrians at the same time, cause when its my time to walk, the green lite goes on for cars to go at the same time for pedestrians to walk, and i always almost get hit by a car that way, why are intersections made so when its time for a person to cross, the lite goes green for cars to go at the same time?

The light does become green for cars on the street that the pedestrian is crossing; it is only green for cars going in the same direction or the opposite direction as the pedestrian, so they do not hit the pedestrian unless they are turning.  Watch the cars for turn signals, and cross when they are going straight or are turning away from you, not when they are turning toward you.

The general rule is that vehicles yield to pedestrians.    However,  this does not mean that pedestrians do not need to watch for ignorant or impatient drivers.

At a light,  pedestrians should only attempt to cross in the same direction as the moving traffic,  never across it.      Stopping all traffic to let someone cross the streets would delay traffic excessively,  causing more problems with impatient drivers.

peds have right of way at law, but many drivers won't grant it.  take their rego number and report them.  Very bad practise, perhaps lethal.  BTW they don't care either, to them, you don't count.
