  1. You should signal approximately two house lots from the intersection. This is an easier way to estimate the correct distance. This is in urban areas.

In rural areas its about 3 times that distance due to higher speed zones.

In Alberta Canada, signalling should be done 30 meters from the intersection in urban areas and 100 meters in rural areas. It all depends upon the Rules of The Road in your jurisdiction.

  2. The answer is at least 100 feet.  200-300 is better.  This is called defensive driving.  It provides the other person more time to see your signal and adjust his/her vehicle accordingly.  Drive so that you do everything you can to make sure others know what you are doing to avoid accident.

  3. I all ways signal at least (c) for any turns.

  4. I'm pretty sure its B..lol

  5. i think its C

but i dont no, ive been driving since october 2004 and i dont really no any of the road rules anymore lol

  6. my parents told me you want to signal before you start slowing down. that way people will know they you are going to slow down so you can turn.  I can't give a definitive answer because it all depends on ho fast you are going. If I'm going idle-speed, then 7-8 feet would suffice, but if I'm going 55 mph, then 7-8 feet would not. its all relative.

  7. None. Its 100 feet in advance

  8. Start signal 5 seconds before you start to brake.

  9. C...............

  10. you click the signal once, then jam on the brakes and slide into the turn as you come around, laying on the horn to let others know you've turned

  11. C

  12. b
