No, I seriously doubt that. It will be a two man position battle between Chad Pennington and Brett Favre. I could see Kellen Clemens actually battle for back-up though. But I'm pretty sure Brett Favre will end up being the opening day starter.

Coolarbiter, the Jets are about to get rid of Pennington, so that's wrong right there.

Clemens is good, but he hasn't showed any signs on stardom when the Jets have given him a chance, so it's all up to Favre for at least the next 2 years.

Kellen Clemens is 3-5 as a starter and he's been in the league for 2 years and you think he is the next Peyton? well he's gonna have to step his game up if thats what you think

No way. The Jets didn't trade for Favre for him to sit on the bench, and Favre didn't agree to go there to sit on the bench. Even if Clemons is as good as you think he is, which is not the consensus of most experts, you're going to have to wait a year or two to find out unless Favre gets hurt. Sorry.

Ya i agree NO he can't compare to Farve, they gave up a Draft pick just to get the old guy, expect Farve to start this season and hope he doesnt get drilled.
