  1. I guess they are trying to bring in something the kids know - - "Back to the Future" came out in 1985.  Change is good I suppose.

I've never watched a Simpsons episode, but I'll try the ride out the next time I'm there anyway.

    :o)

  2. The simpsons is probably more culturally relevant now, but I very much doubt it will be as good of a ride as Back to the Future.

They would have done better, in my opinion, to just close the ride for a while and update the admittedly very dated simulator for BttF. I can't imagine the simpsons ride being anything but a very generic simulator, so I doubt it'll be anything too impressive.

  3. OMG really?

Back 2 The Future was a great ride!

The Simpsons one etter be good or else I shall be having stern words with these people

  4. I dunno lets compare

    Bttf                                        The simpsons

    Fun                                          fun

    exciting                                   exciting

kinda oldish but fun                new/ in style

I like both rides particularly. I am more excited for the WIzarding world of Harry Potter in 2009

  5. I definitely think it will be worth it.

Kids today don't know who Doc Brown or Marty McFly are, but they definitely know who Bart, Lisa, Homer, Marge, and Maggie Simpson are.  This plus Harry Potter are really going to help Universal get some more attendance.

Besides, the ride was extremely dated.  I mean, according to the ride we should be in flying cars by now, and the ice age happened 10min before the volcanic age.

You're right, you can't compare the two, but The Simpsons looks like it's going to be a really fun ride.  Have you seen pictures of the outside of it yet?  It looks awesome, Universal Studios is doing a great job with it.

Don't say it's not worth it just because you prefer one over the other.  You can't judge it before riding.

  6. omg they replaced back to the future  grrrrrrr i loved that ride

they r so gunna hear from me

  7. I guess we'll have to wait and see how good or bad the attraction is when it opens, right?

  8. Well to be honest, it depends on what the Simpsons ride will be like. It's just a way for Universal to get more people to go there, seeing how popular the Simpsons are now vs. Back to the Future (although both are good).

bottom line: I would've kept Back to the Future. (great memories..)
