margarito role model is julio cesar chavez? he probably would likke to try to pay back oscar after oscar destroyed his role model

Well, he would probably gain their respect in the long run but he'll always be seen as a foreigner especially if he takes on Margarito because the Mexican people would obviously be rooting against him. That's probably why he'd rather face Pacquiao in order to have the support of the Mexican people.

margarito was born in tijuana mexico, so he is mexican. oscar de la hoya is from LA and their is alot of mexican influence their. yes i do believe mexicans and those of mexican origins will respect de la hoya more for giving him a chance. i think it will be a good fight to watch, but i would give it to margarito. chavez reputation will never be destroyed, he will always be the greatest. i dont think oscar would have beatin chavez when he was at his prime.
