In a relationship that is an example of commensalism, would the species that is neither helped nor harmed evolved in response to the other species? Defend your answer.

The answer would be "no".  If the species is not impacted by the relationship, then there is no reason for it to evolve in response to the relationship.  Since the relationship doesn't affect the species, there is nothing for natural selection to select for or against, and thus no evolution as a result of the relationship.
