  1. I would never use a word like "lie" to describe the words used by an entity which is made up of hundreds of individual people. "The Government" is not a singularly-minded entity.

There are 535 members of Congress, a President, the Veep, and the Cabinet, and there are 9 Supreme Court Justices. Do any of them lie? Of course. Do ALL of them lie? No, of course not. Can any of them point out that there are others who are lying? Yes.

  2. There are times that government lies to the people concerning national security just like what is happening in Iraq and Guantanamo Bay.

  3. Yep-and they feel they have to in order to control them.

  4. I'm sure they've lied, but all of this conspiracy stuff about 9/11, assassinations, Iraq, landing on the moon, aliens, etc. is completely ridiculous.

  5. No they're telling us the whole truf and even including some top secret stuff. Of course they lie to us if they didn't there would be a world war 3 long time ago cause of military secrets and so on so yes.
