In a 12-based number system, what is 5+5 and what is 6+6?

Also what is 3 x (the symbol for our "11") and what is 10 x 10?

(Hint: the number 10 is just a 1 with a 0 after it, nothing special)

  1. How do you represent 11 in a base 12... that doesn't make sense to me... the only reason 11 is represented as 1 and then another 1 is because we have a base 10.

  2. 10, 12 (using whatever symbols represent 10 and 12, of course)

  3. 10, 12, 33, 100
