YouTube Partner? Help?

I have a couple of videos on YouTube and my most viewed video is 35k+ and my second has around 15k views. i got 41 subscribers so what do i need to do to become a YouTube Partner. I know they reach you in email and so far nothing

You can only apply. http://www.youtube.com/partners

Not everyone gets accepted. Your number of subscribers might be the issue since it's few compared to the ones who have a big cult following.
