Youchi Ui (Motorcycle racer)?

Question

I have just checked the race results for the Japanese road racing championship, and there is no sign of last years 250 champion Youchi Ui. as Im a fan of his, can anyone tell me where he has gone to, what is he racing on now ? Has he gone to America to do AMA ? you dont just lose a 250 champion and 125GP race winner.

i thought he turned test rider,for one of the big japanese companies........

I fear he might of hung up his leathers for the last time.

I hope not, I always remembered him, Sakata & Nobby going at it great guns in the late 90's.

If he has quit, you cant blame him, after all he is 35 this year.

Thats older then Caparex & Edwards !
