While talking to reporters, Montpellier Herault midfielder, Younes Belhanda gave a few clues about his future at the club. The Moroccan international is in great form and has been linked with a move away from the Mosson
Considered to be one of the best players in Ligue 1, Moroccan international Younes Belhanda is in the form of his life for current Ligue 1 leaders Montpellier Herault.
In week 24 of Ligue 1 action, the youngster was in crazy form for La Paillade against Paris Saint-Germain. Belhanda has kept pace with his form yet again and was a major factor behind Montpellier’s industrious win over FC Girondins de Bordeaux.
Already under the radar of Paris Saint-Germain and La Liga giants http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Barcelona-c39078, the youngster is attracting a lot of attention and could be on his way out of the Mosson when the summer transfer window opens.
However, while talking to Telefoot, Belhanda said that he is not looking to take such a major step so early in his career.
The Moroccan says that he wants to play in the German Bundesliga or the English Premier League and would be looking to take one step at a time.
“My dream is to go one day play in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749. Now, I’ve been a professional for just three years so I do not want to toast the steps.”
While Loulou Nicollin is keen on holding on to the gifted midfielder for one more year, the Avignon-born player is also to continue his progress at the Mosson.
A speech that his coach Rene Girard appreciates even if it does not mean that he won’t look for a replacement soon.
“I hope he has thought of waiting for the right time to leave,” says the Montpellier coach who will have a lot of rebuilding to do if the likes of Belhanda, Ait Fana and Olivier Giroud leave the club in the summer.
The future is full of options for Younes Belhanda and his career is going on the right track. However, a move away from Montpellier could be a little too early for the Moroccan. Furthermore, with Montpellier looking to play in the Champions League next season,
Belhanda might consider staying for atleast one more season before securing a big move in the future.
