Young, skiddish lionhead rabbit, can it be easily tamed?

my local pet store has you small black lionhead rabbit (small compared to the adult lionheads). He is pretty skiddish. i want a rabbit and i like that one. will it be tough to tame him or get used to me? or should i buy a older friendlier one that lets me pet it?

How much time are you willing to put in to tame him?  You can win over skittish rabbits- it's not hard, you just need to consistently spend time with them.  Sometimes, if the rabbit is just naturally shyer, it may never be outgoing.  (Some of it is personality.)  So you just need to think about what you want out of a rabbit- something outgoing right off the bat, or something you have to win over.  Rabbits are prey animals, so some skittishness is true of all of them.
