  1. Young modulus E appears in the formula

    change in length(DL)=lengthLxforceF/Excross sectional area S         (1)

    Solve (1) for E and introduce S=0.58x10^-4 m^2

    DL=0.25x10-2 m

    in order to obtain E in m^2/newton
