Hey guys :-D

I'm a 21 year old australian guy, very laid back and love to make friends, have a couple of drinks, relax, blah blah blah lol But the problem I have is that I've read all the answers to Q's about canadian cities and I have NO IDEA which one would be best... So I'm asking you because I love Canadians - where do you reckon I should move? Nightlife? Jobs? Cost of living? Cost of cars? Ladies? (not to be sleazy though :P) And what do you canadian blokes think of australians by the way? Thanks heaps guys, canadians rock ;-) cheers

  1. If you like the nightlife, I suggest any of the bigger cities, although Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal all tend to have a higher cost of living. But then again, in these larger cities, you really don't need a car, as public transit is quite good. What is your field? As that would help determine where in Canada you should go, to follow the job market. Nova Scotia is an excellent idea as well. Packed with culture and history, Nova Scotians really know how to have a good time. I cannot speak for other Canadians, but I have met many Australians and found them to be wonderful people. Hope you enjoy our great country!

  2. I am inclined to agree with Dennis D -

Halifax, Nova Scotia sounds like the right place for you.

  3. Id say Toronto, Ontario.

We have great mixes of culture, and a lot of clubs. Jobs arent too hard to find around, but youll need a good education to get a good job. Cost? is like everywhere else in a big city, its high but if you get a house/apartment somewhere a bit outside of toronto im sure its not that bad. cars? dunno! haha, but you can get a used one im sure for a good price;) ladies? well theres a lot! :D!

and everyone loves an australian accent;)

    good luck finding a place

  4. Come on now!  Nova Scotia! it has the canadian drinking habbits, with the australian beachfronts, the low cost of living with the fine fine women... nova scotia is the place for you... im guessing you'd go to halifax because of its size, but i'd suggest a smaller village for the better times. did i mention they brew the best beer in the world... ALEXANDER KEITHS

  5. The best place to start would be Banff/Canmore in Alberta.

There are plenty of Aussies here, so you will be able to find some friends to talk about Oz with.

  6. Winnipeh, Manitoba! Its is city like but if you are in one of the communitys(or I guess neibourhoods) it feels like a town. We have two malls, St.Vital and Polo Park. We have a football(CFL), Baseball, and Hockey stadiums. We also have Golden Boy (on top of a parlaments building). We also have the Broadway Bears (Bears that were sculpted and painted to be sold to different companys and people to raise money for brest cancer). We do have the forks (two rivers that meet at one place. The settlers also moved there when they immigrated to canada). I love it here!
