Young Cosette: which song?

i'm trying out for young cosette this summer @ the diamond head theatre. i was wondering which song i should use for the try outs? it has to be broadway sheet music--> and not one of the newer ones like POTO or RENT, even though RENT is leaving broadway this summer :'(. ah, back to my question. soo which song would be good cause i guess i wanna show that i can sing like cosette and all that?? lol, sorry its a bit too early to be thinking... thanks.

A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes- Cinderella (if you are a trained soprano)

Kindred Spirits- Anne of Green Gables (a duet, but could easily be reworked)

The Girl I Mean To Be- The Secret Garden (a gorgeous song)

A Bit of Earth- The Secret Garden

Where is Love?- Oliver

Somewhere Out There- An American Tail (It's from a movie, so I'm cautiously suggesting it because it fits the mood of 'castle on a cloud' and works well with the right voice)

Much More- The Fantasticks (it's overdone, but if you can hit those money notes, it's in a similar style to Les Mis)

break a leg at the audition, Les Mis is my favorite show and I've had lots of fun as Eponine. And it's never too early to prepare- I'm already considering songs for 'Kiss Me, Kate' this winter! :)

"Where is Love" is an excellent suggestion; otherwise, possibly the opening solo from "Who Will Buy" or "Maybe" from Annie could work for you as well.

yeah-look up one of the female songs from the fantastiks-it has the same style in a lot of the songs.

Where Is Love from Oliver! would be a good song choice, in my opinion.
