Young.On a $1000 Budget(a bit more if we must!),BUT we want to travel!!

My husband and I want to travel for our one week vacation.We do not want to go outside of the U.S..Which state can we go to that is fun and will fit our budget??Dont say New York B/c it's veryyy expensive and we already live there!! :-)BTW im pregnant so dont say we can go rock climbing at such and such state!

My first suggestion would be to consider a vacation rental instead of a hotel.  It can be cheaper than a hotel, and you can save more money by making some meals yourself.  Eating out 3 meals a day can be expensive.  Try these websites:

If you'd like to save even more money on accommodation, consider doing a Home Exchange: http://www.homeexchange.com.  For some exchanges, you might even be able to use their car.

ANd if you have now saved some money on accomodation, perhaps you will have more money to fly somewhere.  My favourite website for cheap flights is http://www.kayak.com.  Expedia and Travelocity are also reliable.

It's hard to suggest a place without knowing where you are, or what type of experience you are looking for.  I stay at a nice hotel in Vegas each year that is only $30/night and I can walk to everything.  Veags always has cheap flights.  Smoky Mountains? Lake Tahoe?  There is fun to be had in any location.
