I was just wondering I've had my little guy for a little over 3 weeks and he is perfectly active and healthy. I've heard of many Sav's dying young is that just due to people not knowing what they're doing and when do I know when I have nothing to worry about?

  1. Yes, that's due to people not knowing what they're doing. Keep the temps proper, basking spot of upper 90's to 100 degree Fahrenheit. with a cool side of the enclosure in the low to mid 80's.

Your savannah should actively stalk and eat crickets when they're offered. If your savannah shows no interest in eating, that's a good indication of a problem. Normally savannahs have a bottomless stomach and will eat anything offered. Because of this, be careful not to over-feed or your savannah will get fat.
