Young Sid likely to lift title of Riband Final
Young Sid has fully girded up his lines to outplay his five strong competitors to convincingly lift the ace title of The Ladbrokes Blue Riband Final, a high-profile Open Race that will be held at Hall Green on Wednesday night, April 18.
Containing £5000 in purse, this is the costliest race on today’s card. The mega marathon over a distance of 480 meters will commence at 21:45 (GMT).
Young Sid is set to face Ten Large Down, Bandicoot Fionn, Farloe Titan, Sharp Bullet and Drumcrow Dav. Though every one of these runners looks to be fairly strong but the P. Young-trained black dog stands above all in terms of the unique talent and capabilities
he possesses.
The three-year-old veteran runner has been enjoying immense winning momentum since the very beginning of 2012. The dashing dog elegantly bagged a couple of consecutive victories each in March and April.
At the moment, the talented son of Killahan Phanter out of Marwood Review is on a hat-trick that he is going to complete by winning the Riband Final.
Overall, the maverick sprinter has been a consistent performer and regular winner since the very first day of his professional career. He staged his debut in September 2010.
If Young Sid demonstrates a smooth run with an offensive approach, he will have more than 90 percent chances to clinch top spot.
Among the other runners, Ten Large Down and Farloe Titan are also likely to perform well in the race.
Ten Large Down accomplished an epic triumph along with a runner-up spot during the first half of April. Prior to this, he had grabbed a second position in a race on January 6. D. Henry’s black dog will give a little tough time to the hot favourite hound.
Farloe Titan also attained a victory coupled with a runner-up position in the first half of the calendar month. Earlier, P. Sallis’ black and white dog had bagged a couple of consecutive victories in December 2011.
Come what may, Young Sid will be able to seal a sterling success empathetically. Let us enjoy the awe-inspiring competition. Good luck to all the contestants.
