Young Vicarious favourite for Bookmakers 550 Maiden Dup
Young Vicarious has been rated as favourite for the Bookmakers 550 Maiden Dup at Henlow in England on Thursday, April 12, 2012. The winner of the Grade OR event will bag a cash prize of £150.
The stamina of all the runners will be tested in the race, as the distance to cover is 550 metres. The race is scheduled to start at 21:05 GMT and following are the entries confirmed for it: Young Vicarious, Westmead Louisa, Schnizel, Mullpark Romeo, Savana
Classic and Aurrea Bolie.
Although Young Vicarious has been unable to deliver consistent results over the past few months, the bookies have still given him decent odds for today’s race. However, the punters might not be in favour of risking a lot of money on him today.
The P. Young’s trained runner has got very good stamina and has the ability to do well in longer distance events. In addition to that, he is a veteran runner and can use his experience to bounce back at any stage.
The recent form of Young Vicarious has been below par, as he finished fifth in his previous race. He was not the favourite to win that event and failed to match the speed of his rivals. He will need to make a big improvement in order to finish on top of
the table today.
The blue dog is the son of Droopys Kewell out of A Mon Avis and was born in September 2008.
On the other hand, Westmead Louisa will also be the one to watch out for in the race. She is quite a regular at Henlow and will not have any issues today. She took part in a T3 event last time and finished on top of the table by a comfortable margin.
However, performing in a Grade OR event is not easy at all, as the rest of the participants will be quite competitive. This is why the punters might not risk a lot of money in favour of the N. Savva’s trainee, who is the daughter of Top Honcho out of Westmead
Liz.
It will not be easy for the rest of the participants to fight for victory, as Young Vicarious is in terrific form right now.
