Young children and feeling stressed?

I have a 4 years old and a soon to be 3yrs old. My 4 yrs old has been having nightmares. I think this is related to a major surgery he had recently. Poor little guy. The nightmare is almost every night and involves a wolf eating him. I gave him a small bat so the outcome of the nightmare changes. I can tell he now feels empowered.

My oldest is an ideal child. The only thing with him is that when he gets home from school he is very grumpy and tired. He goes to school full days.

My real little boy came after. lol.. He argues about everything with me. He butts heads with me whenever he can. This is sometimes so frustrating. I am a stay at home mom. He is a little angel around others. Can anyone relate or have suggestions?

I am 49 yrs. old, last summer we adopted our granddaughter; she is now 3. We raised 3 boys before this little girl came along,  boy can I relate!!!! She is so defiant, talks back, tells me she doesn't like me. Some days I wonder if we made a big mistake, I keep thinking I'm too old for this c**p. Then there are the times she tells me I am her world, that she loves me so much and always will be my girl. That makes it worth everything she put me through the day before. I worry about the future, her birth mother did alot of drugs, I see counseling in our future.

I dont know what I could suggest you...really.I know exactly what you r going through because I raised 4 kids.

girl 20 years,twin boys 9 and the youngest boy 6...the boys are really torturing me.every morning they fight me...they dont want to get up,not getting dressed up,dont want to go to school,not brushing the teeth,they talk back and yell at me,complain about what I cooked,refuse to eat,fight and hit eachother,wont do what I say,refuse to do homework,refuse to go to bed and scream and curse....I really dont know what I did wrong with them these boys are really killing me.I am afraid that,one day I will just collapse because it is really hard dealing with them...at school the teacher complains about them too.......god help us my friend..
