I have a short story.

Well see, it was the last day of school and my teacher told us as soon as the bell began to ring, "Boodbye have a nice summer and DONT MAKE BABIES THIS SUMMER"

What do you think of that?

  1. It's very good advice, even if probably a bit inappropriate in time and place.

Having a baby this summer will change the rest of a girl's plans for her life.  College is hard, marriage is hard (she has baggage), jobs are necessary, and time with baby is slim.  Having a baby is better left to a time in life when mom & dad are ready to make the sacrifices and mature enough to make good decisions.

    TX Mom

  2. I think it was a clever and humorous way of instilling abstinence in your minds.  Babies are a lot of work and it gets harder and more expensive as they get older.

  3. first that was not nice to say.  I think alot of young girls are more responsible then they use to be. like use to be in the 80's.

  4. Alot of young girls are getting pregnant now a days and its hard on her, the father, and her parents. I got pregnant with my first child at the age 17 and graduated high school 8 months pregnant, alot of girls drop out but even though I did graduate it was always hard for me to find jobs because I didnt have babysitters. I am actualy 21 and on my second child and just actually got out on my own for good and am fianlly doing great with my life. Its hard for young girls to be moms. your teacher was probably just making a joke and being serious all at the same time because she realizes how many young girls are getting pregnant.

  5. I think she is right don't make babies

  6. I would assume that from past experience her other students probably did just that, go make babies lol. I'm sure she wasn't referring to one particular person, she was probably just speaking in general.

  7. I think thats  a good thing because now adays ppl keep poppin babies out like nothing and can't take care of them.

  8. I think that she was kidding lighten up..

  9. I think it's great that at least one teacher cares enough to say it.

  10. I think its a good thing, maybe if my teacher did that, I wouldn't have been pregnant at 16! lol

  11. I would have to agree with the people above me! Kids are havin babies younger and younger. And its awful. Parents only wants whats best for there child and I couldn't imagin my 14 year old having a baby. Its like  a baby having a baby. Wait to have kids. Get tattooed and drunk before you have kids and if you do decide to have s*x. Wrap it up and make sure you use protection

  12. YAY for her!!  Finally a teacher that says something!!

  13. Well. I guess I could just say....She's lucky I'm not in her class. lmao. I am a "Teen mother". SO theoretically....I'm the biggest s**t ever.... if you listen to what people say. But. I was with the father of my children for almost two years. Sure, I know s*x wasn't a good choice. But I have a beautiful daughter and another one on the way and I wouldn't change it for the world. Sometimes....It takes something bad to make you appreciate the greatness in your life. The sterotypical view of teen mothers is Bulshyyyyt,
