  1. Hi.

I got pregnant when I was 15.  Had my son at 16.  I got married to his father when I was 16.

I am now 17 and having twins.  My husband and I will own our house in November of this year.  We are doing very well.  We haven't had to use welfare.  He makes enough money for me to be a stay at home mommy (He is 18 BTW).

We're both still in school.  We are doing in at home.  So we can take care of our growing family.  We plan on going to college.  He wants to become an architect and I want to become a beautician.  We're doing very well for being young parents.

Yes, my parents flipped out.  They thought my husband would leave me and all that stuff.  He didn't though.  He stuck by me and got a job as soon as he found out I was pregnant.  He has taken care of us so well.  I am happy with my life.  I'm going to raise 3 little boys and take care of them to the best of my ability.

  2. I got pregnant when I was sixteen. Found out the hard way that condoms are not 100%! I had my son a month after I turned seventeen.

My parents were upset. My dad wanted to kill the guy. My mom stressed to me that 'just because I got pregnant didn't mean I had to marry him.' They eventually came around and were very supportive. They did not pay for what we needed, my husband(then boyfriend) did that, but of course they spoiled their grandson.

I continued school, graduated with honors as planned. A week after turning eighteen, I moved out with the father of my son. We lived together for about a year before we were married. We wanted to do it for the right reasons, not just because we had a baby.

He's the only man I've ever been with, and we've been together for what will be nine years this October, married for six years in November. I'm twenty-five now, and getting college in when I can, as we have another little one now(two years old). We're in the process of buying a house, and he has a job that allows me to stay at home with our kids.

**We're not all **** ups like 'some people' implied.

  3. I don't think I'll have anything nice to say about the teenage mother situation so I'm not going to say anything at all. I was 20 when I got pregnant with my first and I am now 22 and pregnant with my second. I am already married and I have a good job, i graduated from high school, and I am currently going to college part time. Get an education before you think about getting pregnant.

  4. I'm currently 18 years old-turning 19 in December. I haven't had my baby yet as i'm only 34 weeks 1 day along; he's due October 3rd. I live in Colorado with my fiancee and we have our own place together which is absolutely wonderful! I didn't tell my mom I was pregnant until I was around 22 weeks- I was scared of what she was going to say and I also wanted to wait to tell her until I found out the s*x of the bubs. My mom lives in Maryland so she wouldn't have found out on her own because she only sees me once a year now but I knew  I still had to tell her cause it was only the right thing to do! My mom found out about my pregnancy on Mother's Day when she got her Mother's Day card from me. She called me and left me a message saying how much she loved me (I could tell she had been crying) I was extremely surprised at how happy she was since I thought she was going to be disappointed in me. However, since I live on my own with my fiancee and we don't rely on anyone but ourselves it didn't bother her much although she did wish it wouldn't have happened so soon. I will start going to college after my lil man is born and hopefully pursue a good career that involves animals.

  5. I had two friends who got pregnant when they were 16, their parents got mad at first but did help them after-wards with the child.  they were taught to face their responsibilities and raise a child on their own.  unfortunately they never finished h.s. tough, they have a decent job now and a ged.  Another one had a child when she was 15 but the mother said she would only support her in her decision if she was willing to finish h.s. and marry the father.  I grew up seeing so many young girls getting pregnant they sure helped me not falling into that category.

  7. i was 16 when i got pregnant and 17 wen i had my baby, yes my parents where supportive but just very shocked at first, they wanted what i wanted (great parents) i kept going to school and am graduating this year (got preg in 11th grade) i am going to go to college to be a pediatric nurse..this baby has helped me to do something with my life..i was going nowhere before..im not telling u to go n get pregnant but everything does happen for a reason for some people

the difference a baby can make is life changing, but only if u do  everything the right way, it doesnt have to ruin your life it can make it better

  8. I got pregante when i was18.. i found out a week before i graduated high school and now im going to college. I love being a mom and being young helps me eep up with him! I love it! my parents took it alot better than i thought!

  9. I'm 19 and 16weeks pregnant, and have a stepson (that we have full custody of). We got married, and 2 weeks after we conceived our baby.

I work a full time job at a public school, and a part time job at a daycare.  I plan to take some online classes to get a degree in child development.

We own our own house, and rely only on ourselves.

Even though I was married, out of school, and work 50+ hours a week, I was so nervous to tell my mom. I thought she would be upset, but she is so excited for us.

I wouldnt change it for the world.

  10. I was 14, my  parents freaked and locked me out of the house, i went to live with my bf and his family. I went to school as long as i could, and right now im 8 months pregnant, planning on giving the baby up for adoption.

    use a condom!

  11. Here is how I avoided teenage pregnancy...I was a virgin until I turned 21 and was nearly finished with college.  Really, it's not that hard.

  12. I'm 18 and  about 3 months now. I was very shocked that i was pregnant. I have had late periods before and thought it would come like all the rest. Anyways me and my boyfriend were bored and decided to take a test. True enough it was positive. His family was very supportive and happy. His mom almost cried she was so excited. My family on the other hand was very let down. They had so many plans for my future and a baby wasnt a part of it. Needless to say everyone is ok now. I am still going to college and my baby father supports me 100%. We dont live together at the moment but we are working on it.
